Cabe señalar que el “Carnaval Tlaxcala 2020” forma parte del Programa “Rescate y Conservación de Nuestras Costumbres y Tradiciones” de la SEPE, y para este año en el desfile de inauguración, que se llevará a cabo el 20 de febrero participarán 80 camadas, 237 grupos se presentarán en diversas pistas, 50 infantiles de preescolar y 47 escolares en diferentes comunidades, así como exposiciones, talleres, conferencias y concursos de fotografía y dibujo infantil, entre otras actividades.
Acompañado de la Reina electa del “Carnaval Tlaxcala 2020”, Rubí Itzel Hernández Pérez, el titular de la SEPE destacó que las camadas participarán en el desfile y en las diferentes pistas de baile, ubicadas en Palacio de Gobierno, Presidencia Municipal, Plaza Juárez, Museo de Arte de Tlaxcala, frente al portal chico y la Plaza de Toros de la capital.
Se realizarán también dos desfiles del sector educativo, el 24 de febrero con alumnos de nivel preescolar de SEPE-USET y el 25 de febrero con estudiantes de secundarias, telebachilleratos y universidades.
Durante el evento que se llevó a cabo en la sala 1 del complejo SEPE-USET, se detalló que el jueves 20 de febrero, a las 16:00 horas se realizará la coronación de la Reina del “Carnaval Tlaxcala 2020” frente de la Presidencia Municipal de Tlaxcala, y posteriormente iniciará el desfile por las principales calles de la ciudad.
En su oportunidad, Fausto Hernández Muñoz, representante de Juan Antonio González Necoechea, Director del ITC, informó que el Gobierno del Estado cuenta con un presupuesto de cinco millones de pesos para entregar apoyos a 415 camadas de 46 municipios, el importe se otorgará de acuerdo a las características y antigüedad de cada cuadrilla.
